Welcome to Colleen Cares

Colleen Cares is a company established to provide dedicated care for domestic animals within the Horsham area and its surrounding towns and villages within a 15 mile radius. The services provided by Colleen Cares include house sitting, dog walking and canine & feline hydrotherapy, as well as pet transportation subject to availability.

Colleen Mann is the proprietor, and sole employee, of the company and is presently studying Canine and Feline Anatomy & Physiology, and Canine Psychology. Fully insured and experienced, Colleen has been working with domestic animals for nearly five years and a selection of her clients and their contact telephone numbers, are available for reference purposes.

Colleen's studies, as well as her occasional duties within a local Veterinary surgery, give her knowledge of the general requirements of dogs and cats with regard to basic care, hygiene and nutritional requirements, as well as a knowledge of medications and a good basic understanding of physiological/medical conditions.

Apart from dogs and cats, other animals that have been placed in the care of Colleen include llamas, sheep, goats, miniature horses, guinea pigs, rabbits and birds.

As mentioned, Colleen is also a Canine & Feline Hydrotherapist and provides her services at Seers Croft Veterinary Surgery five times a week. Hydrotherapy is a physiotherapy tool, which allows the Hydrotherapist to swim with animals, using this activity as a form of exercising animals without placing impact, or any form of jarring, on the joints and muscles of the body.
